BIS FMCS refers to the Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme administered by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). It is a regulatory framework that allows foreign manufacturers to obtain a license to use the BIS Standard Mark (ISI Mark) on products that comply with Indian Standards (IS).

The scheme ensures that imported products meet the same safety, quality, and performance requirements applicable to domestic manufacturers in India.
