Frustrated With Time in Anesthesia Unit and Denials?

I have been doing billing in a mid-size anesthesia group in the southeast, and the headaches due to incorrect start/end time documentation or absence of modifiers are not imaginary. A recent refusal was reduced to the failure to map the surgical CPT to the correct right ASA code super common slip-up that swallows revenue. Even such a minor adjustment as keeping a good time-keeping tool in the course of cases has reduced our number of errors significantly.
